Got my order from @kellyraeroberts!! I recently picked up the 40th edition of Louise Hay's "You Can Heal Your Life." It's been on my TBR list for a long while now and the only reason I bought it now was because of Kelly's illustrations, which appear throughout the book. Anyway, I've been reading it and just falling IN LOVE with the artwork. I fell down a rabbit hole one night scrolling through Kelly's site and well, these beauties fell into my cart. I definitely want to get one of these prints in a larger size now to hang in my kitchen. But I picked up her deluxe planner. I'm not going to use it as a planner (cause I don't really need another one) but as a journal—specifically thinking about using it as my One Little Word journal for next year. Definitely going to rearrange some of the pages, but I've got a peek at it up on my YouTube channel if you're curious to see how it looks now before I deconstruct it!Happy Friday lovelies! xx*

The little snippets of wisdom you can glean from watching someone's Insta Stories! Thank you @katielicht for this little nugget of wisdom. I know you were just talking about your garden but this statement really resonated with some things I've been going through currently and I had a little "A-HA" moment when I read this. So naturally, into my journal it went!I've realized through these last three years that I'm a slight control freak and often feel really unsteady when I can't do anything to change certain situations in my life. I totally get this from my mom btw. I've been working on letting go of my need to control things, especially in regard to what other people do because at the end of the day, the only things in life I have control over are my actions and reactions.Recently, I've been wanting certain things in my life to turn out a certain way and I've since realized that no matter how desperately I want something, if the conditions aren't right (which they are not) no amount of wanting can make those things happen. True realization moment I had here and reading that on Katie's story was like a lightbulb went off in my head. And while I still want those things to happen, I'm learning to let go of that need for them too. Because they may not happen the way I expect them to and I'm learning to trust the Universe and its timing of things. Rating: ✩✩✩I'm quite behind on sharing my latest reads. Not having an accessible crafty space these last couple of months had me reading a lot more than I have been lately! Anyway, finally got around to buying and reading this book, the sequel to 13 Little Blue Envelopes. Honestly, this book wasn't my favorite. I kind of didn't like any of the characters lol. Which was weird because I remember enjoying the first book.
