Hey lovelies! Happy New Year!Just want to take this #thursday3 to reintroduce myself. It's been a while. I've been in a weird heavy season of my life these last two/three years, but right now, I feel somewhat lighter. It's a weird feeling since there's still a lot of grief here, but also I'm really excited and hopeful for the year ahead. Anyway, here are three things currently going on in my life:✩ Do you remember my cute little white furbaby named Joey? We had to say goodbye to him on the 27th of December and the grief is very raw. While I'm really okay considering, I still have moments when I think about all of the things he supported me through in my life—some really big life moments these last 17 years! I miss him terribly and even though I know he was scared in the end, I hope he knows that he was so very loved.✩ My #onelittleword this year is FLOW. I chose "Letting Go" to be the theme of my year. I think about Release and Surrender when I think about the act of letting go, but the feeling I want to embody in this practice is Flow. I want to navigate through life like water—it ebbs and flows through calm and rough waters, but it never falters. It just flows along. I want to be more like water.It's only January 9th, and the Universe is already putting me to the test. In the span of just a few days, I'm being asked to let go of people, feelings, and beliefs—and it's HARD.✩ I have a feeling the And Space of Happiness + Heartbreak will be my companion this year as I navigate letting go. In the last 48 hours, I've experienced hopeful anticipation, excitement, sadness, and grief all at the same time. My supporting words this year are Love, Joy, and Wonder, but a word that keeps appearing for me everywhere I look is GLIMMERS.I just wrote in my journal LOVE + JOY + WONDER = GLIMMERS.And I feel as I navigate the space between happiness + heartbreak, and let go, I'm going to seek out the glimmers in my life. Got my @susannahconway Unravel Your Year workbook printed, surrounded by all of my 2024 journals, ready to dive in. Not gonna lie, the reflecting back is going to be HARD. There were a lot of tears this year—but A HEAP of change, growth, and letting go. So far, I started by filling out the months where I remember exactly what happened because there was a lot of joy present. The rest I'll need to read back in my journals to remember!This is the 11th UYY workbook I'm filling out (my 2nd year having them printed as a Blurb book), and I'm so grateful this has become a deeply treasured end-of-the-year ritual for me.
