One Little Word 2025: My January Pages
Hello lovely.
It’s been a while since I shared an update here. To be honest, I’m still trying to find my flow again with creating and sharing. It’s been a tough process, the journey of coming back to myself and my creativity and I’m still on that journey.
I am participating in Ali Edwards’ One Little Word course this year. I really felt like I needed that community again. To be honest, I really missed attending the monthly Zoom calls with Ali, Liz, Lucrecer, and Azzari, so coming back to them has been a godsend. I didn’t keep any sort of unraveling journal last year (which I deeply regret) nor did I do One Little Word, so I’m really excited for this year! I’m also trying something new and am using this gorgeous Kelly Rae Roberts planner that I altered into a six-ring binder as my journal. It’s about 5×7 in size, which feels really nice and manageable for me. I was really inspired by my Water Your Soul binder I did some years back with Liz. I just loved punching things into it. I’m going to flow in that same way with this journal.
Anyway, I just wanted to share the first handful of pages in this journal. These are my January pages (and then some). Kelly’s planner came with all sorts of journal prompt pages that I though were perfect to include at the start of my OLW journal, so I kept them and filled them out along with the January prompts from Ali’s class.
So far my journal is looking a little eclectic. I’m definitely leaning into Kelly’s style and using the colors of the planner pages. It’s a different color scheme for me, but so far, it’s been joy to work on these pages.
xx Tiffany
